Job Summary
MLT is seeking a Technical Planner with experience in the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and demonstrate a strong technical aptitude with a willingness to continually gain knowledge in the evolving telecommunications industry.
As a planner you will work on individually assigned tasks or client driven projects. The Technical Planner position also entails collaborating within a strong team environment.

Build the technical requirements & documents for the implementation team
Job Duties
-
Provide support or take the lead on various design projects.

Ability to write, read and comprehend technical documents and apply the information.

Complete accurate drawings in CAD, Visio or other formats.
-
Perform site surveys or walk outs prior to design phase in order to gather complete and accurate documentation.

Troubleshoot issues and fix problems encountered during the design phase.
-
Complete work on time, on scope and within budget to ensure company objectives are met.

Ensure that communication with clients and peers is done in a professional manner.

Learn to adapt to new standards in a changing client environment.

Update tools and records.

Be willing to undertake other tasks or responsibilities, within your skill set, that would benefit MLT and could help you grow within the company.

Adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations, as per company policy.

Requirements

College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
