Field & Provisioning Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

MLT is seeking a Field & Provisioning Logistics Coordinator looking to gain experience in the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and demonstrate a strong technical aptitude with a willingness to continually gain knowledge in the evolving telecommunications industry.

 

As a Field & Provisioning Logistics Coordinator, you will work on individually assigned tasks or client driven projects. You will work directly with clients and internal team to ensure field and provisioning logistics are completed as per stakeholder requirements.

Job Duties

  • Support team with coordinating, consolidating, and ensuring smooth operation of field activities, including field safety and work quality.

  • Ensure appropriate work permits, tickets, or other documentation are in place prior to starting field work.

  • Ensure appropriate resources and materials are on hand to complete work on time and according to customer expectations.

  • Ability to write, read and comprehend technical documents and apply the information.

  • Ensure that communication with clients and peers is done in a professional manner.

  • Learn to adapt to new standards in a changing client environment.

  • Update records when tasks or projects are completed.

  • Be willing to undertake other tasks or responsibilities, within your skill set, that would benefit MLT and could help you grow within the company.

  • Adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations, as per company policy and industry standards.

  • Show a strong work ethic with attention to detail.

  • Actively engage in account management as per Telecom Division directive.

Requirements

  • College Diploma or bachelor’s degree

  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

 

Technical skills in the following would be an asset

  • Knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices

  • Knowledge relating using Remedy Ticketing Software

  • Excellent communication and representative skills (written, oral, etc.)

  • Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations

  • Ability to quickly adapt within an ever-changing working environment

  • Ability to work in a team setting

 

Other Assets:

  • Experience within the Telecommunication industry

  • Bilingual (English and French)

 

Working Conditions

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
